Blossom Nursery
Blossom Nursery is located in Rooksdown Community Centre it has both a baby room and a pre-school.
They have exceptionally close links with the local community, and especially the Primary School which is located literally next door. This makes the transition a smooth one when the time comes.
Rooms for hire
We have various function rooms for hire at a reasonable rates.
Please contact us to make an enquiry about availability. We will only confirm a booking once a deposit or the full fee is paid.
We are happy to recommend local suppliers for bar services or bouncy castles.
The Spinney
The Spinney is a prominent belt of mature beech, sycamore and lime trees planted in 1912 as a windbreak for the former Park Prewett Hospital. The lovely woodland avenue has a central path which provides opportunity for pleasant circular and short walks and wildlife spotting. There is also a well signposted rubbing trail so don't forget to take some paper and a pencil.
